At La Tortuga Hostel we care about comfort in both the rooms and the shared spaces. Our facilities are designed to offer practical places to rest, cook and socialise during your stay in South Tenerife.
The Garden
Our villa has a small but beautiful garden with palm trees, aloe vera plants, bouganvilleas and beautiful orange flowers.
It is an ideal place for relaxing, sunbathing and getting to know other guests.
A perfect place for outdoor dining and pool parties as well.
We sometimes run activities such as Yoga or Slackline classes, and we invite our guests to join them.
The Swimmingpool
Our lovely little pool is highly appreciated by all our guests!
Placed just beside our garden, it is ideal for refreshing baths in the hot summer days, aperitives and pool parties.
The kitchen
A spacious and fully furnished kitchen is available for our guests to cook lunches, dinners and snacks that can be eaten in the large dining room or outdoor, in the terrace or in the garden.
The kitchen is equipped with:
- Electric oven
- Induction hob
- Microwave
- Fridge
- Freezer
- Kettle
- Toaster
- Small and large pots, frying pans and other cooking facilities
- Plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, etc.
Our guests are welcome to use our olive oil, salt, seasonings, tea, coffee and sugar free of charge.
We have a “PLEASE USE ME” box where guests who are checking out leave behind any food they do not want to take home, so that other guests can use it.
BBQ
In the outdoor space of our villa you will find a barbecue free for use by all our guests.
If you love grilled meat and veggies but don’t want to cook, you just have to wait for Wednesday evening to participate in our generous “BBQ NIGHT” organised by our staff!
The Dining Room
Our dining room is organised around hospitality and friendship: it is used for breakfast, which is FREE for all guests, and for lunch and dinner if you feel like having your meal in the hostel.
You can even decide to enjoy your meal outdoors at the large table located in our terrace.
As we say in Tenerife, ¡buen provecho!
The Terrace
Our outdoor terrace is the ideal place for those who want to meet new people, have a beer with friends or just chill out and read a book.
When we organise an activity in our garden, such as Yoga or Slackline classes, you can decide to observe them from the comfortables sofas of the terrace or even.. Join in!
